03/11/2024: Absolutely amazing! Food was gorgeous! Service excellent A lovely atmosphere! It’s a family run restaurant with a BIG heart! Some really great tastes! We will definitely come again!

27/10/2024: We didn’t expect to find Michelin standard food in a small touristy town in the Algarve. The menu is phenomenal- mix and match tapas style but make sure you have the Special Bruschetta and finish with an almond cake that is to die for. The wine list is as good as the food, with a beautiful and creative choice curated by Hugo from his native Portugal. The only thing better than the food and wine is the ambience that Marina and Hugo have created. This place is fabulous.

29/08/2024: Gosto de comer aqui, e quando estou no Algarve venho aqui e como demais todas as suas deliciosas e variadas comidas. O casal é adorável e tem muito gosto pelo ambiente e tem muito gosto por vinhos e decorações. Perfeito para ter uma ótima experiência gastronômica para experiências íntimas a dois, mas também para grandes grupos. Definitivamente voltando. Obrigado!

12/12/2024: This is our second memorable meal from Gaspacho & Migas. The first was one they catered at a sunset dinner in a winery setting with live Jazz music. This time, we enjoyed a fado night in their lovely restaurant in Lagoa. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Everything on our prix fix menu was prepared with care and beautifully plated. Flavours were magnificent! We had a delightful experience. We Canadians highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

20/11/2024: Uma pérola no Algarve. Espaço muito cuidado. Ambiente calmo e descontraído, com muito bom atendimento. A comida é digna de estrela, pratos muitíssimo bem confeccionados. A carta tem varias opções diversificadas. Optima carta de vinhos.

16/11/2024: This is by far the best Indian food I have ever had from outside of the UK. Every dish me and my husband had was perfectly cooked with the right flavours and spices. We have eaten every day since we've visited here and always left full for the day. The hospitality is lovely from the staff as this being a family business. The host Sanjay is warming, helpful and always nice to have conversation with. If you ever are craving an Indian I urge you to visit here and only here! They have the most authentic dishes and very reasonable priced.

27/11/2024: 5 out of 5 (Excellent food, excellent service) We visited as a family of 4. The service, the food and the ambiance was amazing. We have fish chilli, prawn karahi and chicken tikka and everything was delicious!! The curry for prawn karahi was something we have never tasted before. Very unique and delicious!!

27/10/2024: Extraordinary place, such amazing food! Family and friends, group of 6. Two steak boards and WOW what show stoppers. We had 3 courses and every dish was perfect, portions generous. Only thing I would say is they (and other Porches restaurants we noticed) undercook on the steaks, we are all fans of a rare steak but these were more blue! Exceptional quality steak so no issues but my friend ordered medium and that was more akin to rare!

26/10/2024: Excellent portugues restaurant. Very good food and service. Don’t miss it. We had some tapas and it was generous. A lot of food. We’ll be back for sure.

13/11/2024: Situado cerca del comienzo de la carretera 'IN' a Carvoeiro. Esta es una excelente Pastelaria que siempre visitamos cuando estamos de vacaciones. Gran café y muchas otras bebidas. Selección masiva de sabrosas tortas, incluyendo la obligada Pastel del Nata

22/10/2024: Uma senhora passou à minha frente no balcão. Chamei a sua atenção, dizendo que já ali estava antes dela. A senhora pediu desculpa e eu fiz o meu pedido à funcionária. Não sei se a senhora era conhecida na casa, mas a funcionária parece ter levado o sucedido mais a peito do que a cliente. Levou o nosso pedido à mesa com cara feia e modos arrogantes. Depois reparei que estava a comentar a situação com os colegas e a olhar fixamente para a mesa. É muita falta de tacto! Realmente é impressionante como uma empregada consegue arruinar a experiência do cliente!

01/11/2024: Mi opinión y experiencia... encontré esta joya escondida el año pasado y nada ha cambiado. La comida sigue siendo preciosa y abundante y el personal es amable y servicial. El dueño incluso recordó todo lo que quería comer, ya que siempre tengo la misma comida porque soy una criatura de hábito.

27/10/2024: Este es un lindo café / restaurante. El servicio es excelente y la comida era deliciosa. Pasamos 2 semanas en Portugal y Organic fue un punto culminante. Me encantó el ambiente frío y apreciamos el personal amable que hizo todo con una sonrisa.

08/10/2024: Délicieux ! Nous y avons déjeuner en couple avec un enfant de 2 ans. Burger viande de bœuf pour Mr , bruschetta pour notre fils et salade por moi . Vraiment très bon, bons produits, rassasiant. Serveur très accueillant et jouets pr les enfants. A faire absolument ! C'était parfait !

10/10/2024: Sehr angenehmer Abend. Leckeres Essen mit einem freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Vorspeise und Hauptgang (Nudeln und Burger) waren sehr lecker. Gerne wieder.

24/09/2024: This was my sister’s choice of venue for our penultimate night on holiday in Portugal. I read some of the reviews and was a little concerned that some people had criticised the service - I get very impatient if I have to wait ages to be served . However she assured me she goes every year and highly recommended it. The setting is beautiful - it overlooks the beach . The sunset was spectacular. The waiter was attentive and we ordered quickly . We both had cocktails and both chose our meal from the Japanese part of the menu . I can honestly say my main ( steak bau bun with crispy tempura potato and my salmon poke bowl) was absolutely delicious. The bau bun was one of the best things I have ever eaten and the poke bowl was fresh, tangy and totally divine . Service was quick but we were never rushed. We both had dessert - I had the brownie served with a really moreish nutty dairy ice cream and my sister had the banoffee which is served like a sundae with layers of fresh banana, caramel, cream and crunchy biscuit which she really enjoyed. We finished with another cocktail each - pina colada which while not as creamy as expected was certainly refreshing . I loved everything about the place - the setting, the ambience, the food and the drink. Service was faultless . I honestly would give this place 5* and can’t wait to return when I’m next in Portugal. It was a fabulous experience.

07/11/2024: Todavía estamos sorprendidos. Como golfistas, estamos acostumbrados a conseguir esta arena Club House que brinda después de nuestras rondas. Estábamos buscando un lugar decente para comer más tradicional y encontramos "O Charneco" - nuestro nuevo cielo en la tierra. Por menos de 40 euros la cena de 7 platos, sin siquiera tener opción a qué comer. Significa que lo que el mercado ofrecía Am, se sirve PM. Comida increíble, una mentalidad de servicio encantadora combinada con un pueblo encantador dulce, fuera de las rutas turísticas normales en el Algarve. Fue un placer Equipo "O Charneco". Mucho más que una recomendación, es un MUST! Saludos de Aroeira, Patrick y sus tropas

26/10/2024: Jantar de amigos, sendo o espaço acolhedor e o serviço atencioso. O menu de "degustação", (atenção - não há carta, nem opções para escolher) no que diz respeito a comida, é típico, com produtos da época, com 5 entradas e 2 pratos principais. Dentro da excelência apresentada, destaco o arroz de tamboril e o pernil de porco, que estavam divinais. No que diz respeito a bebidas, estão incluídas águas, vinhos da casa e limonada caseira. Sobremesas, igualmente típicas, feitas no restaurante e divinais. Quem procurar um restaurante típico, com comida "caseira" e de excelência, tem de ir. A voltar seguramente, para provar outras iguarias.

01/11/2024: Los dos pedimos solla El pescado después de ser elegido fue llevado al otro lado de la carretera donde se limpió - aceite de girasol y sal aplicado y en la parrilla mientras observaba. Junto con patatas hervidas y una ensalada algarvánica fue sencillo y el mejor mal durante nuestra escapada de 5 días. La reserva fue muy recomendable, ya que el restaurante estaba lleno dentro de los 30 minutos de nuestra llegada

30/10/2024: Trouvé grâce à ce site alors voici mon propre avis…. Excellent!!! Entrée - plat - dessert tout fut super, si il fallait juste émettre une réserve c est sur le côté un peu trop sucré de la meringue aux fruit mais sinon c était vraiment excellent. En plus cadre authentique et équipe super sympas!!! Merci pour ce bon moment !
