15/10/2024: We visited 3x in 2 days. The pastries are out of this world. We returned last night for my husband's birthday and shared the rump steak meal which was fabulous. Incredibly friendly staff and good cocktails. We are moving to the old town today which is a shame as I think we'd visit every day!

28/10/2024: Nice Chinese. Good for families plenty of space between tables. Crispy chicken peeking style delicious. Ice cream for kids very over priced.

23/10/2024: Big Shanghai is a great restaurant I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this sun drenched resort, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking Chinese restaurant, interior is superb, light and airy, cool decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout ,its just a wonderful place to visit. Our group of 8 were promptly seated ,drinks ordered ,beer here was spot on ,tried several items off the menu, crispy duck,spring rolls ,soup ,rice ,everything was superb, service is really good here which probably explains why this Chinese restaurant is so popular, we all had a great couple of hours here before we moved on, its a Chinese restaurant easy to locate along Rua Do Municipio and well worth checking out if you're in the area.

26/03/2024: Comida muito fresca e boa. Comemos o Peixe e Camarão com Alho que recomendo vivamente. O serviço é muito simpático e atencioso. Tivemos também uma Salada de Tomate e duas cervejas. Pagámos totalmente 35€. Muito autêntico.

19/03/2024: Ótimo restaurante se você gosta de boa culinária local! Preço/desempenho está absolutamente certo! -1 para o ambiente porque fica mesmo numa rua principal, mas ainda assim é uma agradável esplanada O menu é pequeno, mas agradável, a comida tem um sabor excelente

21/05/2024: Descobrimos este restaurante por acaso, sem grandes expectativas pois encontrámos o restaurante quase vazio, mas fomos surpreendidos pela positiva! Já voltámos e de cada vez a comida é magnífica. O frango frito com amêndoas é crocante e suculento, as gambas agridoce têm uma boa textura e o frango sichuan picante é de recomendar.

Although the service could have been a little better (dishes were not all served at the same time and I felt the waitress was a little aggressive when we asked where it was). Food was served hot and was tasty. Would return if in the area again.

23/10/2024: My twin brother and I were heading to Albufeira Old Town when we decided to drop by Pastelaria O Cantinho ,been here before on previous holidays to this sun drenched resort, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking bar, interior is superb, a traditional Portuguese bar,glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer ,lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside, its just a really good bar to unwind in. We sat outside as temperatures were hitting 30 degrees Celsius, we ordered a Beirao each ,this is the famous Portuguese liquor that is just so tasty, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our drinks. This is one of the drinks I most associate with Portugal, its such a delicious drink,so tasty, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our bierao's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Pastelaria O Cantinho is easy to locate along Rua Pedro Alvares Cabral. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 8.30am till 10pm. Sunday, closed. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

02/10/2024: On R.Pedro Álvares Cabral there is a good pastelaria that offer well priced meals and a superb range of hot and cold drinks.Its a fantastic pastelaria and one we've been to before many years ago. It has a pristine well kept interior with many interesting fixtures and features and really good seating option's throughout its whole interior and a brilliant outside terrace and it was busy when we visited here. When we visited here we had a few glasses of Licor Bierão's which where fantastic and were really well priced.Its a fantastic place to visit as is this area as the staff are really friendly and helpful and its a pastelaria we will visit again.(This is my first reviews of the Pastelaria O Cantinho). Opening Hours. Monday-Friday-08.30-20.00. Saturday-09.00-16.00. Sunday-Closed.
