07/10/2024: Been everyday for breakfast this week. Food is freshly cooked to order, so waiting times can vary. Be patient. There is one lady who does the orders and all the table service They are generally very busy and serve breakfast until 12 pm only. You see many returning faces, although you will hear the nasty comments about waiting times. I think her reviews are unfair as the food is lovely, it's not a fast food restaurant, it's freshly cooked so it's good to remember 😋 Lisa & Paul Timms Rugby Warwickshire

12/07/2024: Went here for lunch. The food wasn’t too bad but the service was very poor. We had Gangsta Granny serving us. Didn’t have an ounce of customer service.

16/10/2024: This place is hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to. Absolutely impeccable. Flawless. There are not enough words to express the sheer perfection that is this place from start to finish. The welcome from the staff was incredible, the ambience, the view, the decor, the setting. And then we get on to the food. It was beautiful, exquisite. So well put together. We did a seafood tasting menu with the wine pairing. Every single bite was like it came straight from heaven. The waiting staff were amazing. It is worth every penny and minute spent there. We will visit every time we come to Portugal now. Thank you so much for making my birthday evening

19/10/2024: What an amazing place to eat. Went twice on our 5 day stay in Albufeira. The food was amazing and traditional Portuguese. The cod fish cakes were tasty, the seafood platter amazing with the prawns being the star of the show and the francesinha was off the hook amazing. The owner Ines is so nice and takes the time to talk with everyone and has so much passion for the food. The server Luan also takes the time to chat and gives a great service. Will is also very friendly and its nice to see a couple of youngsters work hard and take the time to chat. The overall enjoyment and pride of everyone here makes it a must visit in Albufeira.

It's vegetarian/vegan with THE best menu We ended up there most days for breakfast/ice cream/iced coffees. Really great friendly staff and atmosphere Super easy to find just in the old town up the elevator

11/10/2024: Lugar muy peculiar para venir, todo lo que probamos nos encantó, los mejillones, la tosta de queso de cabra, las mollejas de pollo y una crema de verduras que nos dio la vida ya que el dia resultó ser lluvioso. Nos ofreció un vino blanco Ribeiro Santo perfecto para acompañar.El personal muy atento y te explica todo al detalle, incluso nos recomendó otros lugares para ir a comer y visitar. Totalmente recomendable, yo volveré, ya que me encanta el sur de Portugal. El postre en con una presentación rudimentaria en papel de aluminio nos sorprendió. Y para finalizar un licor de almendras amargas con limón exprimido, genial!!!!!

02/10/2024: We were lucky to get a table without a reservation just last minute. The personel is very welcoming and friendly, so you feel really at ease. It is a popular and busy restaurant, so please have some patience - it will be worth your time:) We had the Algarve style squid, the cod with red onion, and shrimp with garlic and coriander. It was delicious! An interesting and different end to a beautiful day.

18/10/2024: Great gluten free pasta options (I chose the fresh clams with olive oil, tomatoes and garlic), plus the helpful staff enabled me to select an appropriate side dish too. It would be good if there was a GF pizza base option too. Overall, the staff were attentive yet delightfully chilled (although I visited on a very rainy night, so the laid-back atmosphere may have partly been due to it being a quiet dinner service for them!)

05/10/2024: Um espaço bastante simpático e calmo, longe o suficiente das principais ruas da Oura. O staff é simpático e atencioso e a comida e bebida são bons. Apesar de nos terem indicado uma mesa logo à chegada e depois terem tirado o pedido completo (bebidas e comida) demoraram cerca de 30 minutos a trazerem as bebidas (2 cappuccinos) e após isso mais 25 minutos para nos trazerem o restante do pedido (2 doses de ovos mexidos com pão e 1 dose de panquecas)... Tendo em conta o número de mesas existente no local, este tempo de espera não é de todo razoável. Visitámos o espaço a uma quarta feira por volta das 10h30 da manhã, em Outubro, pelo que nem imagino como será no pico do verão. Pelo que percebemos não sucedeu apenas connosco, já que na mesa ao nosso lado, os clientes estavam a queixar-se do mesmo quando chegámos. Espero que melhorem os tempos de serviço ou, pelo menos, indiquem aos clientes que o serviço é mesmo muito demorado. Comida e bebida - 4/5 Tempo de espera - 1/5

04/10/2024: Beautiful food and coffee. Service is good, remembering you are on holidays so the pace can be slower! Delicious selection on the menu, reasonably priced. We ate there three mornings out of seven. Perfect place with healthy and treat selection. Ideal if the normal “English fried breakfast” isn’t your thing.

26/03/2024: O aperitivo de cogumelos estava saboroso e o prato de queijo / carne estava na quantidade certa com geléia de abóbora e ch vre quente em torradas - gostoso. A seleção de vinhos é boa e com preços razoáveis. O especial de porco com batata batida e molho de castanhas foi incrível! A vitela e o bife à portuguesa foram cozinhados na perfeição e com acompanhamentos perfeitos. A amêndoa com torta de ovo estava boa para lamber os dedos! O serviço foi pontual e com um sorriso - eles prestam atenção aos detalhes! Belo espaço com toques encantadores.

06/10/2024: We booked in advance for my partners birthday as recommended by a friend. Service was outstanding and friendly. My partner had fish and chips which was beautiful and white the batter was lovely and crispy the fish was enormous. I had chicken Piri piri cooked to perfection. We had a glass of wine each and a lemonade. Can’t comment on desserts as we were far too full lol It came to € 37 The quality and portions of the food were excellent. The restaurant has a Great atmosphere super clean with lovely toilets.

05/10/2024: Had an excellent evening with friends. Food was absolutely fantastic starters main course and deserts. Had a special on lamb shank was out of this world. Serve was amazing will definitely be back.

13/10/2024: Aqui foi a minha primeira experiência com cozinha indiana e devo dizer que fiquei encantado Adorei o carril de frango e os molhos todos tem um sabor intenso e são muito agradáveis para molhar o pão tradicional indiano que é uma delícia.

04/11/2024: Had tried to get here last year but couldn’t get a table , so very happy we managed to get booked this year, unfortunately the weather was against us last Friday night , got there in a taxi as it was torrential rain, on arrival greeted by nice young couple who showed us to our table , once seated we could feel that there was a problem with water ingress onto our table but they tried their best to Mop it up , so onto the food . Starter was nice egg yolk with peas very tasty but only luke warm , my main of Lamb would have been sensational if agin was not luke warm, the problem is I think by the time the meals are traversed from kitchen to main dinning area the food cools down , more so on a terrible night weather wise, the wine pairing for us wasn’t as we would have expected and the price for the wine pairing was €35 per head , not worth it imo. Over all the windmill is a very one off place to experience but they need to up their game a bit regarding cold plates, and cost of wines if they want to get that top spot as the Dom Carlos did for many years our favourite place in Albuferia .

02/11/2024: We visited here last night. It was very heavy rain and when we arrived some water had got through on to our table. The waitress dried it up for us. The food presentation was superb. I had the scallop started and the duck main followed by two deserts which we shared. Hubby had the egg starter and lamb main. We opted for wine pairing but the main wine wasn’t to my taste so we swapped and both enjoyed each others. The service was good and food well prepared. Only slight criticism was some of the duck was perfect and other parts were a bit too rare and not that warm. However a beautiful setting and experience to cherish. Would i recommend? Absolutely.

24/08/2024: Café vegano muito leve, arejado e doce. Meu parceiro e eu viemos almoçar e tomamos chá especial diário, sopa e combinação principal. Tudo estava delicioso. O principal foi um risoto de cogumelos com tofu que veio com um molho que me lembrou holandês que estava delicioso! Tomamos chá de hibisco e um smoothie, e de sobremesa tivemos o pote de tiramisu que estava muito saboroso. A garçonete que nos serviu foi simpática e divertida, e nos fez sentir bem-vindos. Recomendo a outros veganos!

17/10/2024: Heerlijk eten! Goed restaurant met prima sfeer. Fijn buiten de drukte van het centrum van Albufeira. Goede betaalbare kaart. De ribeye is heerlijk. Het restaurant is mooi van binnen, fijne sfeer en attente bediening. Aanrader!

14/09/2024: Restaurante muito agradável,serviço muito bom, com um toque familiar.Bastante agradável,todo o staff é super atencioso. A decoração do interior da sala é soberba. Uma exposição e seleção de vinhos excelente. A repetir.

06/10/2024: Wir waren insgesamt an drei Tagen dort essen. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, dass den Gast eine echte Gastfreundschaft spüren lässt. Eine gute bzw. große Auswahl an wohlschmeckenden lokalen Gerichten. Für portugiesische Verhältnisse nicht günstig, aber das Essen und der Service ist es wert!
