14/10/2024: A very well run establishment. Very friendly and hard working team. A great place to people watch, socialise with a wide range of drinks & snacks and the snacks I must say are very good. The best tuna toasties!
Joel has a great sense of humour and Gracia and Sylvana are so lovely, hard working and the whole team are so welcoming. The bar has a great vibe and is always busy late on. It has a great buzz and a great place to mix and chat to fellow travellers & locals. Thank you guys. See you in June x
04/10/2024: A lovely little bar situated at the top of Resteraunt hill ran by Joel and his wife Maria. Always a good crowd of people in enjoying the drinks and snacks served by Grace and Silvio .
We look forward to being back there soon

21/10/2024: Pessoal simpático e amigável. Comida muito pobre. O bife tinha um molho grosso cobrindo-o, o tataki de atum era servido congelado, frio e mastigável - deveria estar em temperatura ambiente e grelhado na hora - o risoto de frutos do mar era apenas um monte de arroz com queijo e alguns camarões velhos por cima. E foi a refeição mais cara que tivemos em Albufeira, custando 113 euros para 3 pessoas. Decepcionado.

18/10/2024: We have been visiting Sagres for over 15 years. For most of that time, when it was owned/managed by 2 Dutch females, this was the best restaurant in town. Post Covid, and the retirement of the Dutch owners, the quality and atmosphere diminished significantly. However, this year (September 2024) the quality and atmosphere had improved. While still not back to the pre-Covid levels, it is almost there.
Having said all of the above, you can be guaranteed an excellent meal.
17/10/2024: We dined here with family, and while the service was friendly, we were surprised by the bill. My wife and I ordered “Today’s Fish,” which was recommended by the waiter and not listed on the menu. While the fish was good, we weren’t informed of the price, and it turned out to be one of the most expensive items. Other family members had salted cod, which was decent but had too little fish compared to the sides. It would be fairer to either inform customers of the price upfront or price the dish closer to the average of other menu items. More transparency would have improved our experience.

17/02/2025: Repeti a experiência neste restaurante que já é paragem obrigatória na visita ao Algarve. Mais uma vez excelente! Staff e atendimento muito simpáticos e sempre com boas dicas e ajuda na escolha. Desta vez experimentei o linguini nero com polvo e estava irrepreensível. Polvo no ponto ótimo de cozedura, muito bem ligado com a massa e de acrescentar as ovas de polvo que faziam a "cereja no topo do bolo".
Experimentei ainda o bolo de bolacha que recomendo bastante - caseiro, bem servido e muito bom mesmo! Recomendo a passagem neste restaurante a qualquer um!
11/02/2025: Tuvimos una comida maravillosa en este restaurante. El mejor gravlax que he probado! Teníamos una selección de tapas con un vino de rosa muy agradable.

12/09/2024: Quite simply wow. A really pretty restaurant a stones throw from the river. Service was attentive and the specials were described with passion. Tried Acorda de Gambas which I’d never had before - totally delicious. Husbands steak was one of the best he’d had. So nice to see ‘different’ sides also instead of the usual chips! Will definitely return.

Bacalhau com natas a tomber tout simplement.
Restaurant qui ne vous force pas à la consommation et qui est situé dans une rue non passante donc en dehors du site touristique.
Un restaurant vraiment typique portugais jusqu'à la fin.
Prix vraiment abordable. 39€ pour 2 personnes avec plat + dessert + vin.
