Vintagetheory Restaurante em Sabrosa

On a packed all-day winter-tour of the region with PortoOneprivatediscovery the set lunch there came in handy as days are short that time of the year. Located next to Magellan’s house in Sabrosa we enjoyed the enchanted garden, vistas, and tranquility of the place. Getting our share of seafood and overdosing on Bacalao later we hold fond memories of this simply tasty and different example of Portuguese cuisine. We also appreciated the sensible dosage – two bottles (white & red) for two guests . . . Being introduced to “real” wines from the region was helpful – because we are not overly fond of sweet, fortified wines. – Dry sherries work better for us. Although to say – the presentation and tasting of the “house Ports” was great – and as they were not so sweet than others, we tasted later . . . we appreciated this first encounter.
