Miam c'est tellement bien cuisiné, bien dosé.
Découverte de la cataplana, spécialité locale et de la polenta aux couteaux, des desserts locaux. Tout était délicieux.
Pour patienter le temps que la cataplana soit prête on nous a proposé une mise en bouche également bien agréable à base de thon....
Le service est super gentil.
Et petit plus: on peut boire une consommation sur le rooftop avant de manger.
Quand on s'y rend, on comprend qu'on ne puisse pas y être servis, l'escalier en métal en colimaçon ancien est trop mignon mais très étroit;)
Bref:
Ce restaurant mérite à mon avis bien plus que les 4* attribuées ici... !

Great place with nice food inside the castle walls. Server did not know the wines very well and they did not have wines by the glass except a cheap house wine, but all in all it was an extremely enjoyable experience.

En pleno corazón de Faro , variado menú y muy buena atención ! Probamos el cordero y el bacalao y quedamos muy satisfechos por la calidad de sus platos , no podía faltar el postre y el café , tratamos la Nata y bebimos expresso. El ambiente espectacular, estuvimos en pleno noviembre con clima agradable sin mucha aglomeración de personas

Very nice restaurant in the old town of Faro. We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, we had a table inside the restaurant, as there were plenty of mosquitoes outside. Since we were the only people sitting inside, we asked the staff to turn down the music and they were kind enough to do so! The food was very good, we had a seafood curry and a mix of vegetables. The painted tiles inside were beautiful and you can also enter the roof of the building from inside and have a nice overview of the old part of the city.

Wonderful location next to the cathedral grounds and Faro museum. Vila Adentro offers some of the best food in town. Local guy now! Dishes of the day are invariably great. Excellent wine. Heavenly chocolate mousse or orange cake deserts. In Nov more time to chat with Luis the owner and friendly staff. Hotspot in Summer go early or reserve a table. Enjoy scrumptious food, people watch. Chill in the beautiful blue sky climate here.

Right in the middle of the old town, the restaurant is usually packed but visited in the low season. If you are travelling in high season,best to call for reservation.
I had the monkfish wrapped in bacon with mustard sauce.
It was ok, not fantastic. The service was good and if in the old town, it's worth a try.
