This bar is the best bar in Monte Gordo, the staff and the owner John are very welcoming and always there to please. There are numerous TVs, so if you want a certain football match/rugby match he will always try and accommodate you.

08/09/2024: My happy place, everything about here is just perfect… the food is delightful, the nicest I’ve eaten… Monica makes the best Vongole. The atmosphere is so chilled and relaxed, I could so easily sit there all day just watching the world sail by, the views are stunning and I always have my photos close to hand for when I’m feeling down to remind me of my “Happy Place”
03/09/2024: We have just had our second visit to Grand Beach Resort & it was fantastic. Excellent sun beds & pool with terrific food. Our Vongole was packed full of shellfish & prawns & expertly cooked. Good bottle of rose (Neves, Bairada) recommended by the table team. Perfect afternoon in the sunshine watching the boats & Spain.

03/10/2023: Restaurante que não serve café (hábito muito tradicional português) para garantir uma virada rápida na mesa. Está bem. Está sempre cheio então reserve primeiro ou chegue cedo. A comida e os frutos do mar são frescos e ótimos. A cerveja fantástica. O local não fica perto da praia/mar, por isso é um pouco mais acessível que os que ficam em cima do mar. É um bom restaurante
