Sunshine Bar em Alcoutim

21/09/2024: The Charrette is a great place to eat some expertly grilled food. We had Chicken Kebabs and Piri Piri Chicken, both were very substantial and great tasting. Highly recommend this place for an informal and fun evening with friends. We thought the staff were all excellent too!

02/08/2024: This place was very near our apartment and we like steak so decided to give it a try. We were shown the menu by a really nice guy who told us about the specials. Then a lady took over. She looked like she was limping and she told us she had glass in her leg. With this injury she was still in work and working so hard. When we ordered none of the 3 steak specials were available and this isn’t good. I would’ve had the t-bone or the New York strip. I went for the sirloin in the end. It was delicious, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. It came with asparagus and chips as the side. The asparagus was good the chips were bad. The chips were quite clearly just frozen and were very bland. We also ordered the algarve carrots as we wanted to try something new. They were stone cold but I think it was on purpose. They were horrendous due to this but it is our fault as we didn’t know. I also went for a dessert. The treacle pudding sounded great and it was. It had ice cream too which was good. Overall this is a top tier steakhouse that I would recommend.
