02/05/2024: Nice people. Welcoming. Popular with locals. Simple cuisine but good value and enormous portions. I had a huge plate of spare ribs. My wife had the biggest lamb chop we have ever seen - bigger than most T-bone steaks and with an unexpected fried egg on top. Add a bottle of pleasant Alentejo wine, a plate of salad, bread with butter, sardine pate and cream cheese, and a large bowl of olives, for a total of £41.95. This place deserves a far better ranking!
