Snack Bar Farense em Faro

21/11/2024: Great food, great service, lovely people. Authentic Portuguese cuisine. Worth sitting outside in November in cooler weather, bring a jacket if you come ‘out of season’ because it’s well worth it . Visited twice in 3 days

03/11/2024: We came here twice as we enjoyed the food so much the first time; as had the couple who recommended it to us when we were up the cathedral bell tower earlier that day. The meat and cheese boards were really good as were the prawns and pork stew. As we found in all of Faro the staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful. Got chatting to people on neighbouring tables which was also nice. The restaurant always seemed busy by 7.30 so do get there before then to avoid disappointment
