Sem Porta Restaurant em Grândola

02/09/2024: It’s a stunning location, we couldn’t believe there were so few people at this beach / lagoon spot a little off the beaten track. The beach restaurant has a sort of 90s/2000s Goan vibe about it (which is ironic since it’s called Lagoa o Mar), a bit rough around the edges but super relaxed, with chilled house music, a great cocktail menu and a menu mix of seafood and typical beach cafe fare. It has the feeling that it’d be really fun at night but there’s hardly any accommodation nearby so we’re guessing daytime’s where it’s at here. Food-wise, we ordered the local clams in garlic sauce and bread with a burrata salad, three huge, sensational burgers and two lots of the best fries ever served with home-made garlic mayo. And a bottle of the local white wine with water and soft drinks. Bill was €92. We’ve had some really great meals on this holiday but this was the first one we felt compelled to write a review for. You’ll thank us for making the diversion to head here if you’re looking for a chilled afternoon of beautiful burger-coma’d laziness on the beach. And the lagoon. With wine. And cocktails. Enjoy!

31/05/2024: Hier kun je heerlijk genieten van lekkere drankjes en hapjes op het strand in een prachtige ambiance. Vooral de huisgemaakte Sangria Branco is een aanrader.
