We had a very lovely family dinner!! I We started dinner with one of my favorite starters, “Pimentos Padron” and “Scrambled Eggs with Spinach, prawns and mushrooms”. Absolutely good as they were cooked to perfection! Then, for main course we had the “Shaved steak, bone marrow butter and black truffle”, “Braised tuna with seaweed salad” and my dish “Capon and partridge pastries with black truffle risotto”. This dish arises from the challenge I launched to Chef Joaquim to prepare a dish of his choice that represented the restaurant. And even it looked a bit “overcooked” (even burned), it tasted really good! The mixture between the Capon, the partridge and the mushroom was stunning! For dessert we had “Abade de Priscos” pudding, Profiteroles with cream, Serra Cheese with toasts, “Canilhas” with creme brûlée, Mille-Feuille and Lemoncello Tiramisu. A final word of appreciation to the very professional and friendly staff that took so very good cake of us! Highly recommended!!
