Santa Grelha em Viseu

11/09/2024: Sought out this restaurant having read reviews and we weren't disappointed. It's situated on a back street with tables down a narrow alleyway, easy to miss as you don't exactly walk past to get anywhere. We lucked out and got a table on a busy Weds lunchtime. Friendly service and absolutely delicious food. We had the squid and the seabass, both were superb. It's not somewhere to eat if you're in a hurry, service is laid back (wrong description as they are so busy, they don't stop!) and food is clearly cooked fresh but well worth waiting for. We'll eat here again, if we can get a table!

21/05/2024: We always make a bee line (and a reservations) for this fabulous family run restaurant to enjoy a last lunch before making our way home. Menu has not changed that much over the years but what they do they do very well and they are so friendly, this is not a place to rush your food.
