Ristorante Toscano em Porto

Uau!!! The rissotto and the Carbonara are exactly as you can find in Emilia Romagna. Excellent, the best italian in town

We ate here with our friends for our last night in Porto. The restaurant had a lovely cozy setting and felt quite intimate. We has a lovely meal, two of us had the bruschetta options. Both very good I opted for the tomato soup and it was creamy and had an excellent fresh flavour. Two of us had the salmon which my wife said was excellent and one of our other guests had the Ragu dish which she said was excellent.  I opted for the mushroom risotto which had a deep mushroom flavour was perfectly cooked and the only option I could think of to improve the dish was to add some truffle oil. Even still it was excellent. Desserts we had cheesecake , fondant chocolate and I had the panacotta which was perfectly cooked had the right amount of wobble. Our friends said their desserts were excellent.  All in all a very enjoyable meal. Staff were so nice, attentive and very helpful.
