Restaurant has expanded in recent years into the former tourist office next door. We have been dining here for 35 years and it has always provided good food at reasonable prices. Conveniently situated right in the middle of Viana. The manager Miguel has nen here for all of the 35 years we have been visitib=ng!

This restaurant is great - nice central location and despite the other reviews the portions were of great sizes and extremely fresh and tasty. The pricing was about the same as elsewhere in the vicinity and offered good value. There was selection of local dishes as well as the pasteis, cheese and bread as you are seated. We had the grilled squid and bacalhau - as pictured but NB I had already eaten some of the squid so really quite a huge plate for 1! The waiting staff were delightfully friendly but not intrusive; I felt the dining area was really nice to sit in. I’ve been here quite a few times over the years and I enjoyed this most recent throughly!
