This was opposite Sublime which was closed for a private function so we had little choice but to eat here. There was perhaps a 10 minute wait but the place looked popular. Staff were friendly and accommodating and professional. We are both vegan and had the vegan mushroom risotto and French fries. It was really nice and lovely sea views. I’d eat here again, the food was nice. They do charge for still water (bottled by them) which wasn’t too clear but never mind, €4. I think 10% service charge was also added to the bill automatically.

Sempre bom. Depois de teto novo no Carvalhal mantém no ótimo nível. Parabéns a toda a equipa que trata os clientes como deve ser.

16/09/2024: Food was average but at the same time charging big city prices for wine, appetizers, entrees , and deserts were way overpriced for the quality of service, presentation, appearance. They have out priced themselves for locals to afford average. We ate the massa de peixe which had lots of pasta, 2 shrimp, and small pieces of fish they must have counted. Not worth the price eating much better in other areas of the region.
03/08/2024: Um bom restaurante, apesar de considerar que pratica preços altos. Comida boa, pessoal simpático. Carne de porco à alentejana e a sopa de legumes estavam muito boas
