Restaurante Pelourinho em Alijó

For meg er dette en typisk «familierestaurant». Trivelig stemning, god portugisisk tradisjonell mat. Særdeles behagelig og hyggelig service. Maten var meget god, store porsjoner. Vi spiste kalvelever, mixed grill og en salat. Hadde husets hvitvin til. Alt med en fin pris. Hovedrettene kostet 10 Euro. Absolutt verd et besøk.

My favourite restaurant in town. I had grilled fish one night and their signature steak on another evening. Lovely English speaking staff, great efficient service and very good value. The food is good local fare and I would highly recommend the steak which is a huge cut that I haven’t experienced before. As usual the portions are very generous and the soups always good. Clearly a favourite with the locals too as it was full towards the weekend but quiet earlier in the week.
