Only missing Basil. Thirty five minute wait for starters that required no cooking. Three front of house staff scurrying about, but an obvious problem in the kitchen. Chicken was over cooked, vegetables bland. Many customers greeted like long lost friends, who appeared to be regulars. Strange when there are so many better options in the locality.

Delicious "Portuguese" inspired food dull of flavour. Great choice of different meats and fish dishes. Staff attitude is perhaps not the best. It was a warm welcome, but after that, we were made to feel like an annoyance rather than customers. - Yes it was a busy night, but being ignored and complained at for ordering, and then asking (and waiting 15mins) for the bill isn't what you'd class as customer service!

01/10/2024: We had a lovely family lunch , 6 adults plus children. We had no reservations but were seated immediately. The restaurant was clean and had an excellent ranger of fish etc. We all enjoyed the meals we ordered and would go again when in the area.
16/09/2024: Restaurante de topo, com comida de topo, principalmente o peixe. Atendimento super personalizado, pois tivemos um empregado Brasileiro, que estava em Portugal há pouco tempo, e a empatia foi de tal forma, que até o pai e o tio da minha namorada trocaram contato com ele, para um dia o empregado vir visitar o Porto, onde moramos.

Restaurante Casa Velha

05/10/2024: We ate here and had the Sirloin steak Portuguese style and Prawn Tagliatelle. The steak was good but the potatoes around it were wafer thin which was a disappointment. Also there were not many prawns with the tagliatelle. It was a nice meal but just a bit lacking.
05/09/2024: Bom restaurante com muita vida por perto. Atendimento rápido e atencioso. Aproveitamos uma promoção do the fork. Recomendo
