Restaurante O Cardeal em Gondomar

We had a wonderful lunch at Restaurante O Cardeal. Delicious food, very affordable, very friendly people. A bit of the beaten track, but easy to get to in a taxi. This is real Portuguese food: fresh sea bass fillet; stew of broad beans and pork riblets; fresh squash soup; lovely homemade desserts. Most of the other clients--except one couple from Germany--were locals from Lisbon, most of them regulars. The food was sumptuous and very affordable.

Really good restaurant and vegetarian friendly even if it is not written on the menu. Looks expensive at first sight but the prices are really affordable. I really recommend this place.
