I've reviewed this restaurant at least 5 times now and there's nothing really more I can say other than the food and service are just as good as ever. looking forward to next year!

There are many great restaurants in Alvor however this is my favourite fish one. I try and remember to make a booking in advance but on this occasion had forgotten. On my last night we managed to obtain a table later on. The sardine starter was tasty and we were delighted with our choice of red snapper. The fish is always grilled to perfection. The service was first class. Can highly recommend a visit here - but book well in advance!

04/10/2024: Kleines einfaches Restaurant mit super leckerer Küche! Wir hatten als Hauptgericht Reis mit Meeresfrüchten für 2 Personen. Es war unfassbar lecker nur von der Menge eher für 4 Personen gedacht! Echt schade, dass wir so viel zurückgehen lassen mussten.
13/09/2024: Cadre idyllique. Nous avons dîner en amoureux sur une terrasse au bord de l'océan avec un magnifique couché de soleil. Nous avons mangé les meilleurs fruits de mers de notre voyage au Portugal. Pour le dessert nous avons pris une salade de fruits fraîche vraiment très bonne. Assez rare dans les restaurants à trouver et pourtant tellement légers en fin de repas. Le personnel est très gentil et parle français. Le service est impeccable. Je recommande vraiment cette adresse ou nous avons passé une excellente soirée. Maryline& David

Restaurant Rio A Vista

27/09/2024: We had dinner here during our stay in Alvor and intended to return except that on our next planned visit on a Sunday evening it was closed, which was our loss. The food is good and the restaurant including the toilets are clean. The staff are attentive and efficient. We had fish and meat dishes, which were very good with plenty to eat. Well worth a visit.
26/09/2024: Had a fabulous dinner here. To start we shared flaming chorizo and a portion of clams. Both were great. Three of our party had Portuguese steak and one big prawn kebab. All the food was fantastic. The staff are so helpful and friendly also . We often visit here and always find the standard to be very high
