Restaurante Muxagata em Almada

24/06/2024: We have lunched here twice recently and are considering buying a house nearby as it is so good! Large, well appointed, grill type, speciality restaurant with daily specials in Laranjeiro I think rather than Feijo but who cares?! This time, I chose off the daily menu selecting fillet of hake baked in the oven with a crust of "broa" on a bed of spinach was it or maybe sprouting broccoli? It was so good I can taste it a week later. My wife had bacalhau à bras and, whilst less emotional than I, she enjoyed it immensely. Both dishes very well presented. They also specialise in charcoal grilled chicken both to dine in or take home and the little guy on the grill is something else! Very comfortable dining chairs, good efficient service. I don't know why I have not given 5 stars. Waiting for excuse to visit again! Downside? Busy, noisy but worth enduring.
