Restaurante Manta Rota em Vila Real de Santo António

14/09/2024: Simple restaurant, no frills but fabulous seafood ! This is very popular so best to book. Marvellous fresh fish and seafood with a varying menu depending on what has been caught for that day. All meals come with a lovely salad and their fabulous tomato rice is an alternative to fried potatoes. All is great but we particularly enjoyed the Sardines and Anchovies (like whitebait but slightly larger). Staff rush about delivering food and wine and taking orders but the service is very good. We ate here three times in five days as we liked it so much !

09/09/2024: De restaurantje is klein en heeft een groot terras. Zeer traditionele gerechten, enorm veel vis. Heerlijke geroosterde sardines en een schotel gefrituurde vissoorten. Zéér smakelijk en super vers. Brood en salade worden erbij geserveerd. Wijn en water. Vlotte bediening. Altijd vol. Bijna alle tafels gereserveerd. Mensen wachten een halfuur voor een tafeltje. Kosten: €31,50 echt waar voor je geld!
