Restaurante Elemento em Porto

Excelente experiência. O ambiente é clean e agradável, o ruído não chega a incomodar. O atendimento é muito bom, atento, simpático e rápido. A comida é o ponto alto: excelente. Desde as entradas (rabo de boi), passando pelos pratos (presa de porco preto) e a sobremesa (crumble de maçã com gelado de couve-flor), muitíssimo saborosos e bem confeccionados. A carta de vinhos é muita boa e variada. Vale o que se paga. Foi uma noite excelente. O único ponto a melhorar é a exaustão do ambiente, pois saímos de lá com as roupas com cheiro de lenha queimada.

Expected so much more. Fabulous decor, fully booked, dynamic open kitchen— all the ingredients of a fabulous night out. Unfortunately only one of five dishes (the oxtail) was a big hit and one was a big disaster (the raw bonito), the latter being so fishy that there was NO WAY, despite the waiter’s reassurances, that it was fresh. Which brings me to the service; snarky from appetisers onwards, following the suggestion that the bonito had not just recently jumped from the ocean onto our plates. Also inattentive, as he placed our wine bottle far from the table and then neglected to pour it at all unless we were able to catch him. We had such fantastic foodie experiences with simply fabulous service in Porto… this was not one of them.

Simply terrific…from service to the food! It is one of the most memorable restaurants I have visited in Portugal and I could not forget about it even after a long time! I would definitely visit again if I am visiting Porto next time!
