Restaurante Campo Alegre/Compadre em Porto

11月1日祝日は満席で断られたのが諦められず、翌日土曜日にもう一度訪ねてやっと入店できました。私と同年代のご主人と若いお嬢さんが、英語で対応してくれて助かりました。ポルトガルではタコ料理なので、どんな料理があるかを聞き、カルパッチョ、リゾット、グリルを注文しました。年配の私たちには量が多すぎましたが、どれも伝統的、本格的でパーフェクトです。日本だけではなくどの国からの旅行者にもお勧めです。

The restaurant is small and has just one waitress at least that is what we experienced. Also the kitchen is fairly small thus I expect if the restaurant is fully booked you wait a while. But we didn’t wait at all instead we got after minutes some olives the best bread I experienced in Portugal and rather tasty olive oil. I avoid the bread as it adds weight but this one was so good that we finished it. Then we got the starters which were good. The main dish was also quite good and it was way too much for us. My wife also needed a desert which was fairly interesting. In total we recommend the place but we also recommend to make a reservation. It was not necessary on a Monday night but the room is small and we hope that it becomes popular, they deserve it. One recommendation for the restaurant, not everyone is on facebook, get a normal address in the net!
