I had the best dining experience in all of the 3 weeks of travelling in Portugal, including Lisbon, Tavira, Faro and Seville, Spain. The Swordfish was as tender as butter and accompanied with perfectly grilled vegetables. A lovely, bright and colourful salad balanced out the dish. A glass of Rose wine was the perfect choice and the walnut bread with Lupine butter was absolutely delicious. Staff gave attentive, excellent service, which I don’t often experience as a single female diner. Great rail station ambience, fun to see the trains go by. Book early!

I have to say this was our favourite dining experience in Olhao. Thought the ambience was lovely in the old railway building, service top notch and excellent food and wine. Difficult to fault. Couvert with tasty bread, butter and pate. Salmon ceviche to share following by prawn linguine and ribeye chimichanga. A bit away from the main restaurant drag but worth making the effort.

Even weg van de drukte is dit een prima plek om te eten. Gerechten lekker en verrassend. Voor de vegetariër goede gerechten maar weinig keus

15/06/2024: Lugar excelente, equipa super simpática, comida muito boa! Recomendamos, melhor restaurante da Ilha da Armona. Jantámos três noites diferentes, comemos petiscos e um atum muito bom, de grande qualidade e bem confeccionado.

22/08/2024: Une halte vers 15h pour manger chaud et nous voilà embarqués pour une expérience des plus agréable.. un thon et une soupe de crevettes accompagnés de riz, frites et salade verte/tomates/oignons ont largement contribué à nous rassasier pour de bon. Ajoutez à cela l ambiance familiale, le service souriant et chaleureux et vous aurez une idée de ce que vous pouvez trouver ici en vous y arrêtant. Ne vous fiez pas aux photos des plats affichés à l extérieur, plutôt vieillots et absolumes en lien avec ce que vous aurez dans votre assiette. Après une journée à Armona décevante par l accueil et l amabilité des commerçants, cette halte à sauvé notre journée... Excellent rapport qualité/prix...nous y sommes retournés le lendemain pour manger une glace.
