We stopped here during our several times after dinner for coffees, drinks and cakes during our recent holiday in Alvor. Service was friendly and prompt and everything is reasonably priced. This is a great place for a "pit stop" on the way home.
During our recent stay in Alvor we called to Pastelaria Perini once or maybe twice a day for coffee, cake, toasties and local brandy, which goes down a treat. We have been to Alvor many times over the years and always call here regularly. The food and drinks are excellent and the prices, as well as the measures of brandy, are very good and reasonable. It is frequented by many locals, which is a good sign. On the outside it may not look as “jazzy” as many others but the quality of the fare on offer is brilliant. The owner, Marcelina, worked as a pastry chef on cruise ships and is always a pleasure to meet. Although he has very little English he always makes the effort to welcome and greet everybody. Without a doubt it is well worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.
