we came across this restaurant whilst visiting peniche , absolutely lovely , had pork and prawns which they hang on a skewer , tasted amazing

We really enjoy our dinner at Onda Azul, the staff where very friendly and helpful and the food was good. We had chicken and beef on the spit. That was fun, but I would strongly suggest to have something to keep the meat warm, because hanging from a spit, only the two first bits are hot, and then the rest is already stone cold, so something open to improvement

10/11/2024: Otra excelente comida aquí. En un día festivo anterior probé el pez monje - delicioso. Esta vez pedí las chuletas de cordero que llegaron en un pincho. De nuevo delicioso y suculento. Este es un pequeño restaurante y estaba ocupado en ambas ocasiones, así que sugiere reservar. Sin duda comeremos aquí de nuevo cuando volvamos y encantado de recomendarles que les den una oportunidad. Ah, y no te vas hambriento de aquí.
07/11/2024: Fraîcheur, qualité, service au top, bon conseils pour le vin. Mérite dans aucun doute sa place de premier à Ferrel. Essayez notamment les fameuses brochettes portugaises (les tables sont équipées), accompagnées d’un délicieux rosé du Douro… J’oubliais le décor, contemporain mais chaleureux grâce à son jeu de lumière sans agressivité et sa cuisine visible de la salle.

03/07/2024: Very good food and warm welcome. Location isn’t the best, but the food and service were very, very good. We arrived just after opening, were the first guest. The menu offers a short variety of dishes. As starters we ordered Linguiça Assada and Cheese. Good quality Linguiça and exceptional cheese. For the main course we skipped meet and had Bacalhau com Natas and Polvo à Lagareiro. Very good Bacalhau com Natas but one of the best if not the best Polvo I ever had. Soft and tasty. The wine was a red from Alentejo, passed well to the food. We finished the evening with an excellent chocolate cake and a cake from Alentejo, both very good. As mentioned, the service was warm, efficient and helpful with knowledge of the different dishes.
