Lili´s Snack Bar em Albufeira

21/11/2024: My husband and I was in Albufiera and wanted to eat good Algarve Portuguese cuisine. Per recommendation of our tour guide, we booked a reservation at the A Lagosteria. Place was easy to find and it was a nice , very presentable restaurant. We were met by a waitress , who asked if we had any reservation. The place was not even 20% occupied., but we sat in a nice cozy place with the menu. We waited a little bit, but we have to get the waitress attention to give our drink and food orders. We waited a little bit more, but when our waitress was standing and talking to coworkers, i called her attention and motioned for our sparkling water order. She asked the bartender to bring the water. We ordered clams (was very bland with clams not appetizing at all)for starters. My husband ordered sole fillet with potatoes and broccoli and food presentation and taste were not appealing at all. I wanted some squid but they did not have any except in the kid's menu. The waitress let me order fried squid and fish fingers , I would say the homemade fries with broccoli were good but both the squid and fish fingers looked processed or store bought. We were very disappointed with the "blah"dishes that night . I give this place 3 stars , only because there was another sweet smiling waitress who cleared our table and I witnessed that a group of them sang and greeted a birthday celebrant. The welcoming host or waitress should be a more warm or hospitable. I am just wondering if there was a dress code to come and eat here. My husband and I just walked from a nearby hotel resort , dressed casually with a backpack. This nice place could also improve their dishes better.

25/09/2024: An absolutely superb fresh fish seafood restaurant which also caters to meat lovers and vegetarians. It is a must visit when on Albuferia audit was just a few minutes walk form put apartment superb.an the early bird menu is amazing value for money.
