Siempre estamos buscando sitios con comida vegetariana o vegana elaborada y este cumplió con todas nuestras expectativas.
Desde que entramos por la puerta el trato al cliente fue muy bueno y la francesinha vegana y el chimichurri steak son dos platos que recomiendo sin duda.
¡Si vais a Oporto es una parada obligatoria, amantes de los animales!
This lovely restaurant just a short walk from Aliados, serves up an amazing offering of vegan specialities. We met an old friend for dinner here as he is vegan and so we are very used to visiting other vegan restaurants in Porto. All of them are good and clearly KK compares favourably.
We ordered the Loaded Nachos before our main and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the vegan cheddar cheese tasted. I never would have guessed there was no milk in its ingredients. The mains were simple. We had 2 orders of Feijão Preto and one Focaccia & Co.
The Feijão Preto was assembled to compete with a hamburger. I have to say, it was PHENOMENAL! While I understand the individual ingredients that went into it, I must admit that in combination, they all gave their part to a new and amazing palette of flavours and textures. While I never order hamburgers in a carnivore place, I clearly will return for this assemblage of wholesome and tasty foods.
My wife ordered the Focaccia and seemed to enjoy the topping a lot but had difficulty with the chewy and seemingly hard texture of the focaccia. I tried some and thought it was good but preferred the burger.
Looks like we will return soon to this lovely place (with or without our vegan friend).
