Gomes Pizzaria em Armamar

23/09/2024: Very close to main road by the river and just up a short but steep hill. Parking is a bit tough, but by Portuguese standards, pretty normal. Entrance steps a bit steep for those with mobility issues. Again, pretty normal for a small Portuguese town. This is not a fancy place, but neat and clean. It's a local place meant primarily for locals, but they were nice to us and we enjoyed the meal which was reasonably priced, especially compared to the fancy place down the hill on the water. If you're looking for elegant atmosphere and and a waiter in a tux, it's not for you. If you want some pretty good food at a price that feels normal, it's great. Since we've already planned to eat there in a few days, I guess you could say we liked it. We now live in Portugal and try to blend into the culture and support small businesses as much as we can.
