Golden Garden em Albufeira

We'd been told to try this place by a couple we'd got talking to one night in the old town as it wasn't far from where we were staying. They'd been coming to Portugal for many years and this was our first time so any recommendations were welcome. I'm happy to say we were not disappointed! We decided to go for the set meal for 2 with a side of salt & pepper chips. We don't usually go for set meals however both dishes sounded nice so we went for it. The beef dish just melted in your mouth and the portions were quite big. The duck & pancakes were gorgeous too. Couldn't fault it. My partner had a beer and I had a strawberry cider. The set menu also came with a choice of dessert. Ice cream or banana fritters. We had both and they were lovely. The price was under 50 euros and well worth it.
