Georgina em Albufeira

Thank goodness Georgina was open, one of the few on Christmas Day. The pizza was delicious and flavorful but the prawn pasta was just okay. Expected actual whole prawns but was just diced small pieces. That pasta was also not al dente enough - but that may be personal preference. The staff is very nice in the restaurant is decorated well.

Walking down Avenida Dos Descobrimentos my twin brother and I decided to drop by Pizzeria Georgina and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, its a modern pizzeria housed in a very cool looking building,glass fronted on all sides ensuring a light and airy interior, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout both inside and outside, its just a really good pizzeria to chill out in. We sat outside, we ordered beers from Central De Cervejas Brewery ( Sagres beer ) and these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and a margherita pizza each, while sipping our beers our pizza's arrived steaming hot and what a treat. Pizza was huge which was great as we were both ravenous, a thin crust ,a more than generous topping and beautifully seasoned ,so tasty, just what we needed to set us up for a good few hours, coupled with our beers made for a great dining experience in a wonderful pizzeria. We really enjoyed our pizza's and beers in here before we moved on, couldn't fault anything about our visit, great pizzeria, fantastic service plus great pizza and beers. Pizzeria Georgina is easy to locate along Rua Do Municipio. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, midday till 3pm. ,6pm till 11.30pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
