Placed looked busy the previous night so we said give it a try. UGH.... My partner ordered prawn cocktail and I have the squid for starters . never in my entire life have I ever seen prawn cocktail with tomato and a boiled egg in . Gross. I had the squid I got six squid rings and 5 extremely large slices of lemon??
My partner had the pork in mustard which was smothered in sauce and a lot of chips on the side. had the salmon which was ok. We won't be back,
Great location overlooking the marina, TBH and no great expectations on the food but we were pleasantly surprised!
We had the clams, prawns, sardines & prawn cocktail as starters and all were excellently cooked with lovely fresh ingredients.
For mains, 2 had the steak, 1 had an omelette (vegetarian), another had the octopus and I had the sardines, everyone was pleased although the medium rare steak may have been slightly overcooked.
The house wine & sangria were both perfectly acceptable.
All in all, an excellent lunch, I am confident we will return.
