Schönes Ambiente, aber etwas gesalzene Preise. Der Kellner freundlich und den Hauswein können wir auch empfehlen. Allerdings Pica Pau war mit 21€ zu teuer. Auch die Bäckchen (Bochechas) waren mehr Brot als Fleisch und dann dafür auch zu teuer. Leider waren die Lammkoteletts aus, diese hätten mich besonders angesprochen. Basmatireis sehr lecker und raffiniert zubereitet. Alles in Allem eine willkommene Abwechslung zu den anderen Restaurants.

Nos encantó todo, el ambiente, la comida, la decoración y el personal que claramente están muy orgullosos de su establecimiento. El plato fuerte que comimos fue pollo... delicioso y arroz aún más delicioso. Todo sabía a Oriente Medio para mí tan picante y tan sabroso. Y una gran distracción de todos esos peces que pueden ser tediosos.

04/09/2024: Desilusão! Conheço de outros anos e tinha-o como um excelente restaurante. Hoje foi uma desilusão e, sobretudo, uma má relação preço-qualidade! Pefimos chocos com batatas, aliás meia dúzia de chocos e amêijoas espalhados numa travessa de batatas, um prsto banal, sem deslumbrar no saber. O polvo frito com batata dice também estava bastante vulgar... Valeram os filetes de peixe pampo estavam bons. Desilusão! Espero que volte aos bons tempos! Na sobremesa, a siricaia estava algo seca, não achei nada de especial!
15/08/2024: ¡Nos hacemos eco de los sentimientos de muchos antes que nosotros! El servicio fue solo la “guinda del pastel” a excepcionales mariscos y vinos. A pesar de la casa llena, con la gente atendiendo mesas hasta su último pedido, el personal no podría haber sido más amable. Una primera comida excepcional para nosotros en esta ciudad costera!

04/01/2025: Had seen the name pop up a few times on Alvor Chat Group. We’d been for an afternoon walk along the Boardwalk so was ready for some hearty nosh. It had got a bit chilly and knew that Vagabondo had a log fire and a reputation for good food. So in we went and had a warm welcome from Bruno from start to finish. The food from the Piri Piri prawns to the Ribeye steak in blue cheese sauce were absolutely delicious 😋. We were even offered a complimentary port whilst we sat afterwards sipping on our wine. Recommend a visit to those wishing a warm welcome and delicious food 🥘
03/01/2025: In a crowded street with choice of eating in Alvor, my wife and I always think this restaurant hits the mark. Going at Twixmas/New Year is a new proposition for us as we are normally at the Penina Golf resort in May when we go, but this year we took a chance on the Algarve in December. Some great sunny weather and very comfy temperatures by day gave us an excellent week. No sitting in the tree courtyard this time though so we were by a nice fire in the main inside area. Two pepper steaks and a Honey Cheese starter later we were fully satisfied again. This place i think was one of the first in Alvor in the 1990's. It’s very worth going in our experience.
