Six years since our last visit and this restaurant has completely changed, for the better. The interior has been refurbished and is light and bright, the menu is also different and has moved upmarket - no more omelettes. We went twice and our meals included superb Portuguese style steak with thin sliced potatoes and rich gravy, monkfish bean stew "Feijoada", and pork slices with black beans rice. Decent couvert although the bread was dry and Herdade da Mingorra sauvignan blanc. €60 excluding tip on both visits.

Great restaurant, thoroughly enjoyed our meal, varied menu, reasonably priced. Service and quality of food is very good. Highly recommend.

12/11/2024: We came across this restaurant while walking around Alvor and after doing a quick check on Tripadvisor we booked a table. I must say it was an excellent choice. Firstly you are greeted with a glass of bubbles for you to enjoy while looking over the delights on the menu and making your selection. I could recommend the Alvor clams and the monkfish and king prawn in a creamy tropical sauce. all our food was excellent and so was the service. great meal we will be back for sure would recommend making a reservation as they were busy.
25/10/2024: Impresionante en Adela de Alvor. Todo el equipo, Bruno, nounou, González... hacen que sea fácil para la calidad del servicio. Las comidas son deliciosas... Lubina, filete portugués, caña de cordero, pez monje (se nota que fuimos dos veces). Una delicia, volveremos.

28/09/2024: This should and could have been a 5 Star review, but it won’t be, and that’s on them! The location is great, there’s parking, the facility is lovely, the menu and pricing are very nice; everything was in place for our party of 6 to enjoy a wonderful experience UNTIL (before ordering) we requested 3 separate checks! The owner (I’m assuming) told me this was a “problem” for him, to which I replied: “Please don’t make your problem MY problem”. In this day and age, technology being what it is, I was dumbfounded by his resistance. It has been many years since I’ve encountered a restaurant anywhere that isn’t happy to accommodate such a request. What could have been a perfect evenIng was spoiled by what became a VERY awkward moment!
16/09/2024: First time visiting here but won't be our last. From arrival to departure everything from the welcome to service and food was first class. The restaurant has a nice relaxing tone to it with none of the frantic running around you'd find in other places.Food was beautiful. We had fillet steak and sole with the fish filleted at the table for you. Crepes were also cooked at the table and these were fabulous.
