Duartes Restaurant em Portimão

28/09/2024: This should and could have been a 5 Star review, but it won’t be, and that’s on them! The location is great, there’s parking, the facility is lovely, the menu and pricing are very nice; everything was in place for our party of 6 to enjoy a wonderful experience UNTIL (before ordering) we requested 3 separate checks! The owner (I’m assuming) told me this was a “problem” for him, to which I replied: “Please don’t make your problem MY problem”. In this day and age, technology being what it is, I was dumbfounded by his resistance. It has been many years since I’ve encountered a restaurant anywhere that isn’t happy to accommodate such a request. What could have been a perfect evenIng was spoiled by what became a VERY awkward moment!

16/09/2024: First time visiting here but won't be our last. From arrival to departure everything from the welcome to service and food was first class. The restaurant has a nice relaxing tone to it with none of the frantic running around you'd find in other places.Food was beautiful. We had fillet steak and sole with the fish filleted at the table for you. Crepes were also cooked at the table and these were fabulous.
