We dined for lunch at this quaint eatery as part of a Gate One city tour. Our expectations for these "lunch included" tour stops are usually pretty low, our experience at this place was very good! Food was served family style and overall was very tasty. Especially enjoyed the beef and potatoes entree. Service was also very good. This was a great choice by Gate One!!
My wife and I were here on a Gate1 tour, Optional Medieval Tour, and we had just finished the beautiful “Bom Jesus do Monte” (Good Jesus of the Mount) sanctuary.
Lunch was provided as part of the Optional Tour.
We had potato soup, beef stew with potatoes and a salad, with a cake dessert. The beef felt a bit overcooked, but otherwise, everything tasted good.
