This place has an ambience of old style Portugal in the midst of Lagos a tourist hub. Staff including the owner are superb, always friendly and always have time to have a conversation. Owner is very personable and is well liked by his customers. A lot of locals and tourists hang out there. His selection of cakes and Pastis da Nada are outstanding. Excellent value.

15/03/2024: Comida incrivelmente boa no meio da cidade velha de Lagos. Comemos o queijo de cabra assado como entrada e o entrecôte e Tornados Diana como prato principal. Tudo foi ótimo. A equipe é muito simpática e acolhedora e os preços são acessíveis. A qualquer momento.
09/03/2024: Tivemos uma ótima noite. Com prazer novamente.

02/08/2024: Came across this restaurant near our accommodation. Casual enough setting which was great as we came straight from the beach. Other diners came in later dressed for dinner but suited everyone. The owner/waiter had excellent English and recommended I didn’t have the sirloin steak too well done. He was right. Beautifully cooked steak, the best most flavoursome I’ve ever tasted. The vegetable soup was a big portion and was delicious also. Looking forward to returning.
07/05/2024: Das Beste Essen in ganz Lagos und der Algarve mitten auf einem Parkplatz. Der Chef mit Stil, Charme und mit sehr viel Höfflichkeit.
