We have been to Casa Vasco a few times already, everything in the menu is delicious. You can tell that they are proud to provide you with a quality product. Recomended.

Restaurant trouvé par hasard sur Google maps, peu de restaurant dans ce quartier de Nevogilde .... plutôt résidentiel. Avis plutôt positif donc réservation d'une table pour le soir même.... Petit restaurant dans une rue a l'arrière (pas de vue mer) mais très cosy et très bon accueil. Produits frais et cuisine raffinée. Petite salle mais terrasse protégée et abritée du vent frais du soir. Je recommande, ce resto vaut le détour !!

"Lulinhas & gambas panadas" is always a great choice, but it seems that the portions are getting smaller and with less shrimps. It's an excellent alternative for an afternoon snack, or lunch.

07/10/2024: We couldn't get on with the iPad menu, made it feel more like a McDonalds. Very disappointingly tasteless mojitos. Some nice food but octopus was very chewy, It was hard to work out what was main and what was starter, though I appreciate it was probably all tapas but some portions were much smaller than others. Not really value for money. The wine was good and the atmosphere was good but we will not be going back.
05/10/2024: Een top tent met heel veel goede wijnen en lekker eten. We kwamen hier in eerste instantie voor een borrel en een borrelplankje maar hebben hier uiteindelijk zo lang gezeten dat we meerdere wijntjes en meerdere hapjes hebben gegeten. De sfeer is relaxed en het is heel sfeervol ingericht. Je waant je letterlijk in een wijndoos. Absoluut een aanrader.

Restaurante Salmão

06/09/2024: This was in the square close to our Airbnb but we walked around until we saw what we thought was the best. Sat outside to enjoy the streetscape. Our server was delightful. Started with caldo verde...traditional soup with cabbage and it was delicious. My husband has been waiting for grilled sardines and he was not disappointed. I was wanting shrimp so went with the shrimp linguine-just would have liked a few more shrimp. It was a pleasant place...a bit tucked away from all the hubbub.
30/08/2024: We found this little restaurant on our walk in Porto. Went for dinner and had an excellent meal. We had some white Porto Reserva to start with. We were offered cod balls for appetizer which we accepted ( good price, only 2 euros a pice). Then some had grilled sardines and I had pork tenderloins with mushroom sauce. All dishes were very good and big portions. Service was outstanding. And it did not matter that our waiter did not speak much english, some how communication was not a problem.
