Casa Portuguesa do Pastel de Bacalhau em Vila Nova de Gaia

28/10/2024: este restaurante é totalmente focado em comida tradicional Portuguesa, em particular comida transmontana e beirã. A comida é boa, as doses são generosas, e não é muito caro, sendo que o forte são os assados e estufados tipicos. Vale a pena a visita. O Serviço é simpático.

16/09/2024: We managed to get a reservation here after some previous plans fell through and had a pretty good time. Dining room had a cozy feeling and the wine choices are extensive. Ultimately the food feels a little overpriced, but the portions are also massive. That being said we offered the waiter to choose for us since there were so many good sounding choices, and he immediately went for two portions of the most expensive thing on the menu. Luckily we caught that before he told the kitchen. Maybe it was the best dish, but it was over twice the cost of anything else and we had already ordered a lot. Did not care for the cod dish, but I was maybe alone in that as everyone else seemed to like it.
