Casa do Chefe em Albufeira

This restaurant was the best one we visited in Portugal. The food was amazing. The staff were friendly and service was good.It was a little more expensive but definitely worth it. We visited twice and both times the food was great. We definitely recommend this restaurant. It is only open for dinner and has both outside and indoor seating.

If you are visiting the Algarve and Albufeira then make sure you pay this restaurant a visit. If you are looking for a warm welcome and a relaxing and traditional ambience, then you will not be disappointed. The food is carefully prepared and always looks and tastes delicious. We have visited many times over the years and always return to this homely place. The prawns in garlic and monkfish stew are always a firm favourite for me. The restaurant is owned and run by Julieta and Fernando who are happy to accommodate special requests. On our recent visit we enjoyed the most amazing giant prawns which we had pre-ordered. Absolutely delicious! The restaurant is popular and therefore serving times can be longer than other places, but it is well worth the wait. It is also worth booking if you prefer an outside table.
