BJ`S Oceanside em Loulé

Visited again - top top place really good fun and always enjoyed it. Had the BJs special bread which was great, then had the piri piri chicken which is awesome, had the eton mess to finish along with the affogato. House rose was very good and an excellent bloody mary

When searching places around Quarteira I wanted something on the beach with a great sunset view. BJs is just that. Rustic and very casual. Upon reading reviews I was worried not being a local I would not get seated or treated properly. Return of my emails from US was spotty but we got a reservation and drove down the unpaved road at sunset to find a beautiful spot. Plenty of open tables. I began to worry about some of the reviews again when the UK sounding young waitresses seemed to aggressively ask what drinks or appetizers we wanted. All was good though as a dude who seemed like he probably had a share in the place took over with the menu. I had the whole fish and my wife the prawns. It is pricy but the whole fish was excellent! The guy who served us was fun and took lots of pictures with our camera for us. Unfortunately my wife's prawns seemed overdone. She recalls one seemed off so she did not finish it and wouldn't you know it she did get sick 4 hours later which is never fun.
