Portuguese traditional tasty dishes perfectly cooked and garnished with the best and fresh ingredients. Both the quantity and the quality are worth the price. During the week and at weekends you can try a variety of dishes, which gives you the chance to taste different food like "Rojões e papas de sarrabulho", on saturdays, at lunch time. A very good selection of meat and fish dishes, especially codfish, octopus, pork and beef. And of course, there's the so famous Porto "francesinha"! It's a must! The place is a 100-year-old big family house that's been refurbished to be a cosy, traditional, familiar restaurant with a bar and a terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The young cooks work professionally. Food cooking and seasoning are well balanced. There's a fine selection of delicious desserts. Matilde and her husband, Fernando, know how to welcome guests so that they feel comfortable and happy. They are a nice young couple and Matilde is a cheerful, funny young lady.
