A qualidade da comida é boa, o serviço também foi bom. Aberto, espaçoso e limpo. O menu é limitado, mas suficiente para fazer uma boa escolha. A base da pizza é fina e crocante, perfeita para mim. O vinho tinha um preço decente. Como em todos os restaurantes portugueses, o ambiente é o que é… mas melhor que a maioria. Posso recomendar isso… estava procurando um lugar íntimo menor, é isso.

Eu e meus pais comemos pizzas aqui. Realmente boa relação preço/qualidade e boas pizzas. Meus pais que moram aqui disseram que visitarão esse lugar muitas vezes no futuro.

30/09/2024: Called in her for dinner recently. We were seated immediately by a big aggressive man. They do not like it if you don't order a covert or bottled water and they don't mind letting you know. We had some drinks and 2 x mains of surf 'n turf and a steak. Unfortunately the steak was undercooked. We had a dessert and a coffee all for a total of €76. Underwhelmed would be my overall assessment.
12/09/2024: Second time in Villamoura. Last time always ate round the marina. This time decided to try different places. First night and walked a different way to usual. Chanced upon this place. It was busy and we liked the vibe. Staff were friendly and funny. Food was lovely. Best kebab I've had. Reasonably priced too. Plan on returning whilst we are here.

23/09/2024: We were recommended this restaurant by some friends who had visited a few weeks ago and we decided to reserve a table whilst on a trip to Vilamoura in mid-Sept. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner Joao or John to his English customers, as we can never pronounce his real name properly 😀. All 4 of us loved the food from the starters (delicious garlic prawns & a prawn salad with avocado mousse) to the main courses which were a combination of the very highly praised turbot, monkfish medallions and fillet steak. Finally we went for John’s famous homemade ice cream, which was very moreish. There is a reason why this restaurant has been running since John opened it in 1983 and we will definitely be back next time we visit this area.
04/08/2024: Interesting twists on traditional Portuguese cuisine and local flavors. We had avocado mousse and prawns and black pudding and jam for starters. Followed by turbot with almonds, stuffed sole fish, and John Dory with bananas. For dessert a Morgado and a “Different” dessert. Unexpected fine dining in Quarteira at a reasonable price.
